Ethnobotany
Ethnobotany is the science of studying cultural use of plant materials. Current research efforts are focused on use of native medicinal plants, especially a new effort of collecting native plants for chemistry testing and use in natural products. Other areas of study include the harvest, use and conservation status of Echinacea species and a student project related to the Yucatan.
